Week 8

Yuki's
morning walks are nearly non existent as she is now very big and
carrying a lot of of weight. Last night (Sunday 18th) we saw
the puppies moving and kicking while Yuki had a nap

Friday 23 2008
Surprise this morning - Yuki became her playful self again - after
the last few days of being very slow and tired. I was putting
out the bin and she was biting at the lead and generally being full
of mischief. She even ran the last 60 meters back to the house
which she has not done now for about 4 weeks.
Exactly on time 4 puppies arrived
11:20pm Sunday 25th
01:20am Monday 26th
3:45am Monday 26th
4:15am Monday 26th
No problems with the birth, Yuki
coped very well with no help needed and is now settling in to a
routine of feeding/cleaning the pups
She is very possessive at the moment
and I have found it difficult to check for how many dogs/bitches
there are, although there is definitely one of each
